By all accounts serial entrepreneur, inventor and futurist Ray Kurzweil is Google's most famous employee, eclipsing even co-founders Larry Page and Sergei Brin. As an inventor he can lay claim to some impressive firsts, such as the flatbed scanner, optical character recognition and the music synthesizer.
